A score from 0 to 100, against your own requesters
Each request is scored from four parts, weighted equally:
- Posts with samples: how often the creator posts after receiving a sample.
- Sales generation: how much they sell.
- Post frequency: how often they post.
- Content quality: how well their videos do.
Sales, frequency and quality are compared with the other creators asking your shop for samples, so a high score means "better than most of the creators who ask you", not better than the whole of TikTok. Scores read Excellent from 80, Good from 60, Fair from 40, and Poor below that.
What the creator has done for your shop
Every request shows your shop's own history with the creator: "With you: 3 samples, 2 posted, 1 still owed", with the sales they made you, or "New to your shop".
That history moves the score. Sales for your shop raise it. A sample that was never posted lowers it, and a creator who took a sample and never posted scores 25 at most.
Approve the 3 best in one click
Sort by score, search by name or @handle, and filter by Excellent, Good, Fair or Poor. "Approve the 3 best" approves the three highest-scoring requests you are looking at, from those scoring 70 or more.
Nightly sample rules and monthly limits
- Every night, after TikTok's new requests come in, your rules approve requests that score above your minimum: 70 unless you change it.
- Up to 25 a night, best score first. Rules are off until you turn them on.
- A monthly limit per product, 20 unless you change it, keeps sample spend in check. Each product can have its own.
Reminders to creators who owe a post
When a creator has the sample and has not posted, Collabrun reminds them: 7 and 14 days after it arrives unless you change the days, and no more than three times.
Questions
How is a TikTok sample request scored?
From four equal parts: posts with samples, sales generation, post frequency and content quality. Sales, frequency and quality are compared with the other creators asking your shop for samples. Your shop's own history with the creator then moves the score up or down.
Can Collabrun approve sample requests automatically?
Yes, if you turn on sample rules. Every night they approve requests scoring above your minimum, 70 unless you change it, up to 25 a night, best score first.
How do I stop sample costs running away?
Set a monthly limit per product. It is 20 a month unless you change it, and each product can have its own.
What happens when a creator does not post?
Collabrun reminds them, 7 and 14 days after the sample arrives unless you change the days. The no-show also counts against their score with your shop, which is capped at 25 for a creator who took a sample and never posted.
